Correspondence, annual and monthly reports, contracts and agreements, union literature, employee lists and statistics, grievance records, strike and negotiation records, political action files, minutes, directories, arbitration briefs, scrapbooks, photos, and other papers, chiefly relating to Tomassetti's activities as business agent, international representative (1942-1978), and organizer for United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America (UE) in New Britain and elsewhere and as secretary of UE's GE-Westinghouse Coordinated Bargaining Committee, a national body of representatives from GE and Westinghouse locals which coordinated bargaining with these companies. Includes materials pertaining to his activities as state representative (1938-1944) and chairman of Connecticut Labor's Non-Partisan League; publications of U.S. National Labor Relations Board; and records of UE Local 207, representing employees at General Electric and Landers, Frary & Clark in New Britain, and various other state UE locals.
